Asaf Zussman is an Associate Professor and the William Haber Chair in the Department of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Director of the Maurice Falk Institute for Economic Research in Israel. He is an applied micro-economist. His recent work focuses on two topics: discrimination and bias in market and non-market settings and economic aspects of conflict, terrorism, and counterterrorism. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Hebrew University and his Ph.D. from Stanford University. Prior to joining the Hebrew University, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Cornell University.
